Discover the various aspects of Chinese opera through up-close performances and participation. Experience how opera performers sing and make use of movements and props such as horsewhips to tell the story of White Bone Demon from Journey to the West.
Witness firsthand how opera performers paint their faces and put on their costumes. Guided by reputable and established practitioners from the Chinese Opera Institute, you and your child will get acquainted with different key character roles and basic performance techniques found in any Chinese opera performance. Adults and children alike will also get the chance to practise their newly-learnt skills onsite!
与孩子一同认识多姿多彩的中国戏曲世界！
由戏曲学院的专业工作者指导，你将能和孩子近距离观赏戏曲演员如何运用唱念做打的表演艺术和简单的道具，诠释《西游记》之“三打白骨精”的精彩故事及打斗场面。皆时你们也能结识不同角色的人物特征及舞台演艺技巧。
戏曲角色的面部化妆及行头也非常讲究。细看演员们如何上妆及穿戴服饰，指导员将从旁解说，让你们更加了解脸部描绘及脸谱颜色的象征意义。
有兴趣的话，你和孩子还可以当场展示所学，联手表演一小段呢！
