Fascinated with the mortal world, the Seventh Heavenly Maiden breaks the rules of heaven and descends to earth. She falls in love with the kind and honest Dong Yong and they become husband and wife. To help release him from a long life of servitude, the Seventh Heavenly Maiden weaves ten silk brocades in one night as payment for his freedom. The day of Dong Yong’s release comes but as they celebrate, the Heavenly Emperor summons the Seventh Heavenly Maiden back to heaven and tears the two lovers apart.

This endearing love story that spans heaven and earth is brought to life by Plum Blossom Award winner Li Wen and acclaimed actor Xu Shun in elegant performances that have received high praise from audiences and critics alike.
