The repertoire for this concert also includes many classic erhu works of Jiangnan flavour, such as popular pieces Reflection of the Moon on the Erquan Spring and a composition by Zhu Changyao, The Tune of Sunan. He will also be performing excerpts from the well-loved Butterfly Lovers Concerto.
The guest performer for the coming year's concert is renowned erhu master Zhu Changyao from Jiangsu Province. He will be presenting a variety of concertos as well as solo pieces with a distinctive Jiangnan flavour, including his own famous composition, Early Spring in Jiangnan.
